1.0
Hey there! Let me tell you a little story about my journey as a recording artist. To be completely honest, before Studio 1.0, my recording setup ranged from 0.1 to 0.9. As a musician myself, I always needed a space to record my music. Even back in my school days, I was the first in my class to have recording equipment. From recording on cassette tapes to burning thousands of CDs and selling them all over the United Kingdom, I was always creating music with the knowledge I had at the time.
But we all have to start somewhere, right? As a self-taught individual, I read everything I could get my hands on about producing, engineering, songwriting, and anything else related to music. You might have even seen me on the tube reading about compressors! This was my initial learning stage, and I'm still learning to this day.
Looking back, I had to dig deep to find some pictures of my old studios, as I didn't take many back then. They weren't much to look at, but they got the job done. I always believed in the saying, "Remember how you use it, not what you've got." It's not about having the fanciest equipment or the most expensive setup. It's about the passion and drive to create music that truly matters.
