BLAKS MARSHALL
Blaks Marshall has spent the last two and a half years building his Creative HQ (KCX Studios), his label imprint (KCX Label), and his publishing company (KCX Sounds). Based in West London, Blaks has grown a formidable team of engineers at KCX Studios and has established himself as a tastemaker with a sharp eye for talent. Actively developing selective artists under his label, Blaks is on a mission to shape the future of music, while KCX Sounds continues to grow with new producers joining its publishing roster.
With over 19 million streams (as verified by Musio), Blaks Marshall is a creative force behind numerous successful projects. His versatility shines through collaborations with artists such as Hardy Caprio, Fuse ODG, DIDE, and Clement Marfo. Blaks recently produced the winning track for BBC’s The Rap Game UK with artist Layyah, cementing his reputation as a dynamic and impactful producer.
Blaks is currently working on exciting projects with Sneakbo, Princess Nyah, and DIDE’s second EP. Adding to his portfolio, he is launching his label imprint with Rocco, a Moroccan-English artist whose unique sound blends Arabic music with R&B and Afro-Dancehall influences. This new venture further underscores Blaks’ commitment to cultural fusion and sonic innovation.
Under the mentorship of Vee Music, one of the biggest producers in the desi music scene with over 7 billion streams, Blaks continues to hone his craft while pushing boundaries across the music landscape. In addition to this, Blaks is strengthening KCX Sounds within the Indo music scene by signing young and talented producer Vynom, further expanding his reach and influence in global music markets.
“When it comes to music, I’m all in—I don’t play. Whether it’s writing, producing, or engineering, I’ll wear any hat needed to make a great record,” says Blaks Marshall. “I’ve been working on new music, and I can’t wait to surprise everyone with what I have. While many see me as just an engineer, I enjoy stacking my credits, but at heart, I’m an artist first and always will be.”
